o        Provide servers for hosting web, DNS, FTP and e-mail for several web sites on Red Hat Linux, Windows 2000, and Windows NT 4 platforms.  The NT servers have Exchange, and IIS.  The Linux servers are running Apache, WSFTP, and Sendmail.

MiniMed Technologies 1996 - present

o        Provides hardware, software and networking support for the top sales location of MiniMed for over four years while seeing explosive growth from a small office of 6 to over 60 people. 

o        Setup MS Windows NT 4 server software on various server platforms including PDC, BDC and application servers.  I also supported Windows NT4 workstation, Windows 98 and Windows 95.

o        Installed and serviced the 100MB Ethernet network, 56K dial-up, T1, Cisco 3Com and Ascend routers, print servers, serviced all hardware, built the servers and set up the notebooks for remote users.  I also provided help desk services to the field personnel.  

o        Setup and maintained an Act! Database with over 40,000 records that synchronized every night with 30 field personnel using dialup into a 3Com56K router. 

Ray’s Heating 2000 - present

o        Stabilize network and upgrade workstations, install and setup a new server with MS Windows 2000  Server.

National Retail Federation 1996 - present

o        National Retail Federation, located in Washington DC has an office located in Chicago.  They needed this office integrated into their systems for mail sharing data and many other reasons.  I wired the offices and set them up with 100BT network.  Installed and setup HP server with NT Server, setup the Cisco router to connect to main office, workstations, notebooks, printer, application software and set up remote user machines for dialup access.

Technical Search   1996-present

o        Wired office, built server machine, installed NT 4 Server, Install and setup Windows 2000 Professional, Windows 98 SE, wired office for 100BT network, upgrade and repair hardware as needed, setup ISDN and DSL routers.

Tellabs 1996 - Present

o        Wrote application in MS Access to keep track of manufacturing change orders and the approval process. 

Patrick & Douglas 1996 - Present

o        Wired offices, Built, Installed and set up NT 4 Server and Windows 95 workstations and well as dial-up.

Bridgeport Machines 1996 - 1999

o        Updated computer components in large machining centers allowing them to run Windows so they could run applications like AutoCAD while machining other parts.  I also networked them so files could remain on server.

Geodesic Systems 1997 - 1998

o        I was called in to get them up after a move when Ikon could not get Lotus Notes to work.  Repaired Lotus Notes  OS/2 server, re-setup all workstations. 

o        Installed NT 4 server to act in junction with the Novell server with a single logon through NT.

o        Moved the notes server from OS/2 to NT4 after the OS/2 machine crashed.

o        Setup Notes to synchronize through Ascend firewall.

Kemlite Corporation      1997 - 1998

o        Installed NT 4 Server, Exchange Server 5.0 and set up RAS for remote users.  Setup ACT! Synchronization for all users.

Montgomery County Children Services  1996 - 1996

o        Wrote a system using Microsoft Access for a county wide Department of Children’s Services to track the court cases and obligations of the Legal department.

·       I sold the concept of developing a DMS 1100 database translation product to a customer.  Our Consulting division developed the product.  I then sold that same product with enhancements to make it emulate the DMS 1100 to another customer.  I then worked on setting up a distribution channels.  This strategy has been so successful it is being adopted as a major part of the company’s business plan.
